GQG Partners Launches GQG Partners Global Quality Equity Fund

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — March 29, 2019 — GQG Partners LLC, a leading global equity investment boutique, is pleased to announce the launch of the GQG Partners Global Quality Equity Fund (Institutional Class: GQRIX, Investor Class: GQRPX, and Retirement1 Class: GQRRX). The long-only mutual fund will be managed by noted investor Rajiv Jain, Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of GQG Partners.

The Fund seeks to invest in high-quality companies with attractively priced future growth prospects, and will focus primarily on equity and equity-based securities of both developed and emerging markets. GQG Partners’ fundamental investment process evaluates each business based on financial strength, sustainability of earnings growth, and quality of management. The resulting portfolio seeks to mitigate downside risk while providing attractive returns to long-term investors over a full market cycle.

The Fund is based on the GQG Partners Global Equity Strategy, which is benchmarked against the MSCI All Country World Index (Net).

Mr. Jain has been managing global equity portfolios since 2002 and already manages more than US$8 billion in regulatory assets under management in GQG Partners’ Global Equity Strategy as of February 28, 2019.

“We believe that forward-looking focus on quality growth is a better way to compound the investments of our clients and ourselves,” says Mr. Jain. “I have managed global equity portfolios for the majority of my career and they have been an important part of my success as a portfolio manager. At GQG Partners, we have confidence that this approach can deliver reasonable returns over the long term. As usual, we are committing personal capital to this Fund as well.”
