Firm now offers mutual funds for each of its strategies: Global, International, Emerging Markets and US equities

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — March 29, 2019 — GQG Partners LLC, a leading global equity investment boutique, is pleased to announce the launch of the GQG Partners Global Quality Equity Fund (Institutional Class: GQRIX, Investor Class: GQRPX, and Retirement1 Class: GQRRX). The long-only mutual fund will be managed by noted investor Rajiv Jain, Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of GQG Partners.

The Fund seeks to invest in high-quality companies with attractively priced future growth prospects, and will focus primarily on equity and equity-based securities of both developed and emerging markets. GQG Partners’ fundamental investment process evaluates each business based on financial strength, sustainability of earnings growth, and quality of management. The resulting portfolio seeks to mitigate downside risk while providing attractive returns to long-term investors over a full market cycle.

The Fund is based on the GQG Partners Global Equity Strategy, which is benchmarked against the MSCI All Country World Index (Net).

Mr. Jain has been managing global equity portfolios since 2002 and already manages more than US$8 billion in regulatory assets under management in GQG Partners’ Global Equity Strategy as of February 28, 2019.

“We believe that forward-looking focus on quality growth is a better way to compound the investments of our clients and ourselves,” says Mr. Jain. “I have managed global equity portfolios for the majority of my career and they have been an important part of my success as a portfolio manager. At GQG Partners, we have confidence that this approach can deliver reasonable returns over the long term. As usual, we are committing personal capital to this Fund as well.”

Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. There’s no guarantee the Fund will achieve it stated objective. Stock prices of small- and mid-size companies may be more volatile and less liquid than those of large companies. International investments may involve risk of capital loss from unfavorable fluctuation in currency values, from differences in generally accepted accounting principles or from social, economic or political instability in other nations. Emerging markets involve heightened risks related to the same factors as well as increased volatility and lower trading volume. The primary risk of participation notes is that changes in the market value of securities held by the fund and of the derivative instruments relating to those securities may not be proportionate. Participation notes are also subject to illiquidity and counterparty risk. The Fund is non-diversified. Investments in commodities are subject to higher volatility than more traditional investments. Trading through Stock Connect is subject to a number of restrictions that may affect the Fund’s investments and returns, including a daily quota that limits the maximum net purchase under the Stock Connect each day. The Fund is a newly organized entity and does not have an operating history upon which prospective investors can evaluate its potential performance.
